1969 BEAUMONT SD 396 TRIBUTE

History/Overview: This is a very nice and very well built 1969 Beaumont Deluxe 2 door hardtop V8 car. Built in the Oshawa Plant Nov. 12,1968 as 1 of 2471. Vintage Vehicle Services document included. SD instrument cluster with 140 mph speedometer and tachometer. Purchased as restored in 2016. Actual engine mileage is unknown but shows as 87590 miles on the odometer. Runs and drives very well!

Body: One repaint in stock colour – #4040 Butternut Yellow. No evidence of floor patches. The car is straight and solid. Doors open and close nicely with no evidence of accidents. 396 SD hood and body side stripes. Rear bumperettes.

Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Big block suspension. Well maintained mostly stock components throughout with front and rear anti sway bars and trailing arms.

Engine: 396 CID. Runs strong. Frame mounted fuel pump. Stainless steel fuel lines. 3 core aluminum radiator.

Transmission: Turbo 400 automatic.

Differential: Likely original 12 bolt posi with unknown gears. Aluminum cover. Runs with 3000 rpm at 100 km per hour.

Exhaust: Dual 3-inch aluminized steel.

Brakes: Power front disc and rear drums. Stainless steel brake lines.

Wheels: Factory 15-inch Rallye with stock center caps.

Tires: Front Grand Prix Performance 235 60R 15 and Road Max Delta GT 255 60R 15 in the rear.

Interior: Cloth/Vinyl Coated Fabric – black. Bench seat with a column shifter. SD instrument cluster with 140 mph speedometer and tachometer. All in very nice condition throughout.

Extras included: Set of 4 rubber floor mats. Photo album of the build process. Vintage Vehicle Services specification document.

Options and Special Features: Power steering and power brakes. Pioneer stereo.

Known issues: One spot of rust on trunk floor over the differential hump. Burn ring on dash by cigarette lighter. RH exterior mirror is cracked. New paint colour is slightly off original when you look at the door jams and the front grill surround. One chip in the windshield. One paint chip on trunk lid and one small spot polished through to base coat. Small rub mark on RH drip rail. Transmission tail shaft leak. Small amount of filler detected at the top of the rear wheel openings on each side and LH door lower front corner. Rub mark on LH seat bottom edge.

Reason for selling: Bought a sailboat and travelling around the world.
