History/Overview: Built at the Dearborn, Michigan plant. Purchased in Calgary in 2025. Runs very smooth at 110 km per hour with no rattles, pulls or vibrations. Always garage kept. Get ready for summer cruising with this well priced MUSTANG convertible.
Body: Straight and solid with one nice repaint in Factory IVY GLOW color. Black undercoating. Color Keyed Racing mirrors. White POWER convertible top with glass backlite.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Stock suspension with front coil springs over shocks and rear leaf springs with coil overs.
Engine: FORD 302 CID 2V V8 – likely original and numbers matching (not verified). New battery and alternator.
Trans: C4 Select Shift Automatic.
Differential: Likely original with unknown gears (Marti Report indicates 2.79 gears).
Exhaust: Dual aluminized steel.
Brakes: Factory front disc with drums in the rear.
Wheels: After market 15-inch alloy/chrome 5 spoke.
Tires: 235 60R 15 front and rear. Raised white letters (letters mounted inside on the front tires).
Interior: Factory Avocado Knit Vinyl bucket seats with factory console. No cracks in the dash.
Extras included: Body, Electrical and Engine manuals. Marti Report. Original 8-track radio. New ignition switch. Old alternator. Floor mats. Extra stereo speaker and fuel cap. Several vintage 8 track tapes.
Options and Special Features: Power steering and power windows. Bumper rub strips. Clarion single CD stereo deck.
Known issues: Filler detected in one small spot on the LH door bottom back corner and behind and around the RH rear wheel. Rust perforation in one spot on the inside LH rocker. Engine and trans leaks (driving the car will help that). Column ignition not working with new switch included (start button mounted under dash). Convertible top tonneau cover not fitting (a stretch in the hot sun will allow it to fit). Stereo not working. Rear side windows do not go down (switches not working). Signal lights not working (could be simple like a fuse). Clock not working. Bucket seat backs go back too far (propped forward with wood shims).
Reason for selling: Downsizing.
