HISTORY
This well documented 1969 Mustang Mach 1 was built at the Dearborn, Michigan plant on March 27, 1969. The Deluxe Marti Report and a 1999 Ford Customer Assistance Center letter confirm it left the factory as a 63C Mach 1 2-door SportsRoof in C5 Black Jade with the black-out hood treatment, 3AA black knit vinyl Mach I hi-back bucket seats, the M-code 351-4V V-8, a three-speed manual transmission and a 3.25 conventional rear axle. It was ordered through the Midwestern Canada District Sales Office and sold new on April 10, 1969 by Parkside Ford Sales Ltd in Winnipeg, Manitoba. One of only 417 ordered from this DSO and 1 of 4,513 1969 SportsRoofs with this engine/transmission combination. The car came west to Calgary in the early 1990s and has been in Alberta ever since. The current owner is the third owner, having purchased it in April 1996 from the second owner, who had it for over 20 years. The original owner Registration is still in the glove box. Always kept in a heated shop. A full rotisserie restoration was completed between 2016 and 2018 using some of the best parts available. The car has been continually refined and upgraded ever since. 5000 km since the build was completed. A well documented, no issues Pro Touring real Mach 1 that’s ready to show and drive.
