AIR RIDE SUSPENSION – 22” ROCKSTAR WHEELS

History/Overview: This 1966 Lincoln Continental 4 door sedan was originally purchased in Iowa in 2010 and has been kept in a heated shop ever since. The dramatic rear-hinged suicide doors remain one of the Lincoln Continental’s signature features. This classic is a head turner and a show stopper.

Body: The bumpers were rechromed. LED headlights and taillights. All doors open and close well. 

Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Front suspension is stock with gas shocks. The rear runs an air ride suspension system purchased from Lowriders Only in Regina, Sask. and installed by MicroTune in Regina.

Engine: Ford big block. New radiator, fuel tank and fuel sending unit.

Transmission: Likely original automatic. 

Differential: Likely original with unknown gears.

Exhaust: Dual aluminized steel with Flowmaster mufflers.

Brakes: Factory front disc brakes with drums in the rear.

Wheels: 22-inch Rockstar (Alcoa AZ200).

Tires: 265/35R22 front and rear.

Interior: Factory AM radio.

Extras included: Restoration and repair receipts. 

Options and Special Features: Power steering, brakes, seats, windows and window vents. Air ride suspension, suicide rear doors and 22-inch Rockstar wheels.

Known issues: No rear-view mirror. Crack in the dash near the speaker. Driver seat upholstery needs repairs. Clock is not working. Car pulls to the left and stalls intermittently. Exhaust leak. A few small rips in the headliner. Engine and transmission leaks. Body filler is present behind the LH front tire and on the quarter panel in front of the rear tire on the LH side; no filler detected on the RH side. Small rust bubbles on the LH rear door, bottom back corner.

Reason for selling: Babies coming.
