NICE CRUISER
History: Originally owned by a Ford Dealer in Camrose, Alberta. It was stolen at one point and then recovered with the engine missing (thus a new engine was installed). Last purchased in 2003. Extensive maintenance work completed over the years since then including: new heater core, new battery, new head lights, major brake work, new suspension parts, new stereo, new steering box, new door and trunk weather stripping. Approximately 20,000 miles on the new engine. Very nice running car on the highway!
Body: Original colour was Ivy Green – one repaint in red with white vinyl top. No floor patches evident. Tinted glass is very nice. Original sequential rear signal lights. Fender skirts.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Factory components in well maintained condition.
Engine: Rebuilt (in 2004) non numbers matching 390 CID with 4-barrel carburetor.
Transmission: Likely original 3 speed automatic.
Differential: Likely original Limited slip with unknown gears.
Exhaust: Dual aluminized steel.
Brakes: Front disc and rear drums in good condition.
Wheels: 15-inch factory steel with factory original wheel covers.
Tires: Motomaster 215 75R 15 white walls in good condition.
Interior: Leather bucket seats with console. Upholstery in nice condition throughout.
Extras included: Copies of original window sticker and original Bill of Sale with the Marti Report. Manuals, binder with receipts and extra LH front fender. Car cover.
Options and Special Features: POWER steering, brakes, seats, antenna, door locks and windows. SELECTAIRE AIR CONDITIONING. Remote trunk release (on console). Passenger side seat reclines and head rest is adjustable. Tilt away steering column. Day/night rear view mirror. Aftermarket period correct stereo with hidden USB connection.
Known issues: AC not working (compressor still turns and belt is still on). Minor engine oil leak from drain plug and from transmission. Very light orange peel in paint on both body sides (could use a polish). Some paint imperfections on the hood if you look closely. Speedometer works but not accurate (squeaks a bit when you slow down – needs a new gear). Odometer not working. Remote trunk release on console not working. RH power window works intermittently. Slight miss in engine (needs a tune up). Clock not working. Tears in roof liner above RH sun visor. Tilt away steering column sticks.
Reason for selling: Downsizing.
