History:
Started out as a very complete original field truck. Built from the frame up with care and detail.
Body Mods:
- All original sheet metal was saved, patched where needed and left in beautiful original Patina
- Cracks in fenders were pulled back together & welded up and dents were massaged out “just enough”
- BEAUTIFUL Oil-rubbed patina finish
- Replaced all 4 cab corners
- Firewall has 8-inch setback
- Box floor is reclaimed original box floor wood and was raised up 3 inches
- Fabricated mini tubs from original tubs for rear tires
- New windshield and all new weatherstripping
Engine:
- 525 cu inch 675 HP (dyno sheet) carbureted BBC rebuilt with all the best high performance parts
- 1000 miles on the engine and 3800 proven miles on the build
- Brodix BB-2X heads and intake manifold, 1050 Dominator carb with AED metering blocks
- Howards Cams solid roller 260/270@.050 690 lift. Howards Endura-max bushed lifters, Jesel Sportsman shaftmount rocker system
- Hank the Crank forged 4340 Chrome moly shaft, eagle rods and forged pistons, 11.2/1 comp
- MSD ignition. Aeromotive Bypass fuel regulator
- Hooker headers with custom 3.5inch exhaust blowing through Hooker Aero-Chamber mufflers with twin balance tubes with side fender exits
- Aluminum Rad with stand-alone fan system
Transmission:
- Reverse pattern Turbo 350 with trans brake and TCS 3000 stall converter
- B&M Reverse pattern Shifter
Chassis:
- Stock 53 Chevy rails, fully boxed front to back, custom rear cross-members and chassis X-member
- New Engine and trans mounts
- Front suspension – TCI double wishbone, Ride-Tech Coil-overs, power rack & pinion steering with front sway bar
- Rear suspension – Ford 9-inch, 3:50/1 gears, Competition Engineering Four-link with diagonal bar and anti-roll. Moroso drag Coil-over shocks
- 4-wheel disc brakes, Wilwood 12.19 with polished 4 piston calipers
Interior:
- Mostly stock appearance
- Power leather bucket seats with 3-point harness
- Custom door panel inserts, custom cup holders
- All NEW Autometer gauges
